Junior Board Goals:
The Junior Board’s goals are to expand the brand recognition of the Alabama Cancer Association within the school and community. To raise money for ACA through fundraisers that will fund our missions. Our mission as a Junior Board is to increase the number of cancer survivors in the state of Alabama. With these donations, we aim to:
Increase availability to free cancer screenings for residents in the state of Alabama. For most cancers, early detection is the best way to save a life.
Fund clinical trials for patients in Alabama at our local nationally ranked hospitals that are committed to advancements in cancer research.
Assist in education by providing health classrooms with information and resources to inform students how to protect themselves from cancer by taking preventative measures.
The Junior Board will meet 4 times a year at the beginning of the month in person. This will allow you to network with other students across the state that have similar interest and dedication towards serving their community.
We look forward to your video application and interest in serving the Junior Board of Alabama Cancer Association.
